If you wish to make a contribution to an individual teacher the information will be listed (if they have an individual PayPal account). Otherwise, the evenings dana (generosity) will be offered directly to the teacher, unless otherwise indicated. Your generosity is very much appreciated ~ thank you!

In general, the evening format is:
Start - 6 pm; Sit for 30- 40 min; Dharma talk 30 min; Discussion 25 min; Metta and close with dana (donation) information and other announcements. Please note: Individual teachers may vary this format.

Kodo Conlin - Wise Attention to the Essentials

Meditations on a Wise Attention - A teaching for the beginning, middle, and end of the Buddhist path. We will consider Wise Attention in relationship to two ancient teachings: Discourse #2 of the Majjhima Nikāya and the Five Daily Reflections.

Bio - Kodo Conlin has practiced Buddhist meditation for nearly 20 years. He has trained in both the Zen and Theravada traditions, ordaining as a Soto Zen priest in 2015. A participant in the 2021-2025 Insight Meditation Center Teacher Training, Kodo's extended residential practice has included over a year, cumulatively, in silent retreat. Kodo's teaching emphasizes a joyful, comprehensive freedom of the heart—liberation—available through the Buddhist path.
