Each Friday, Mountain Stream opens the doors for Open Temple Friday from 11:30 am to 1:15 pm.
SPECIAL OFFERING on January 17
There will be a slideshow presentation in the library from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm before the quiet sit ~
Mark and Vivian Andrews will show photos and talk about their recent three-week pilgrimage in Bhutan, where they sat in the ancient caves and temples of the great Dzogchen master, Longchenpa (1308-1364). They traveled with a small group of practitioners led by Dr. Pema Khandro Rinpoche, and Jampa Stuart (author of “The Life of Longchenpa”). You will see the majestic mountains and skies, artisans, temples, and residences in this short presentation of their journey.
This Photo is of Mark and Vivian on their way to Tiger’s Nest.
As usual, there will be a quiet 30-minute sit that begins at 12:30.
Our intention is to co-create a gentle, safe, and quiet refuge for community.
Mountain Stream’s tea room, library and meditation hall will be open and available.

Calling for volunteers!
Open Temple Friday is possible because of the commitment and energy of our wonderful team of co-hosts. If you align with this offering, we encourage you to become a volunteer co-host. Contact Jen Scott, Volunteer Outreach Coordinator, Jenrose1961@gmail.com to get started. There is a simple training involved and we work in teams of two. We invite you onto this team! ~ Much Metta
