(Virtual) Reverend Vivian Gruenenfelder

Reverend Vivian Gruenenfelder ~ Buddha's Enlightenment, and what we mean by the term 'Enlightenment.'
In preparation, please consider the following questions: How do you, at this point in your practice, understand what enlightenment is? Or what ‘enlightening’ is? Do you have an aspiration in your practice, and if so, what is it toward? Why do you value it?

Bio: Rev. Vivian Gruenenfelder has been a Zen Buddhist monk for over twenty years at Shasta Abbey Buddhist Monastery, a monastery of the Order of Buddhist Contemplatives, where she received Dharma Transmission from her Master in 2003.  She is currently Resident Teacher for Bear River Meditation Group in Applegate, CA.  Before becoming a monk she trained in the Theravada Buddhist tradition at Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Massachusetts, under the direction of Joseph Goldstein.
