Thanks to the continuing support from our community, the five-month Rooted in the Dharma fundraising campaign is nearing its goal. The campaign has extended another week, we are so close! If only 48 people donate $213, we will reach our $355,000 goal! Can you help us to bridge the gap? If so, we would very much appreciate receiving your contribution by the nd of the month. All funds are being directly applied to our three-year strategic plan envisioned by the community for the community. Every single donation is greatly appreciated!

Mountain Stream’s “Rooted in the Dharma” fundraising campaign began in May 2021, and will close at the end of September. We reached out to everyone in our community, for whom we have contact information and have had great success.

This campaign emerged from the completion of a new long-range strategic plan. Over a seven month period, our Board of Directors held nine community forums, attended by over one hundred Sangha members. These discussions proved to be rich listening opportunities for Sangha members to express what was most important to them. Everyone had the opportunity to speak about how best Mountain Stream could continue to evolve as a spiritual organization and serve the needs of our Sangha.

As a result of these community meetings, Mountain Stream now has a Three-Year Strategic Plan comprised of specific goals – our “North Stars” – points of light to steer by and to guide us. Please take a moment to read more about our strategic plan. 

To ensure our long-term financial sustainability, and to finance the many priorities in which our Sangha has expressed a strong interest, we developed an ambitious three-year fundraising strategy and goal for the community to be involved and support.

Sangha members have generously responded to our Rooted in the Dharma campaign. Only a small gap remains to meet our goal and implement our long-range initiatives.
